Thanks for enjoying our forest trail. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ Oops! Regarding the hot tub, we are a little bewildered about your comment🤷‍♀️. The Salal room in which you stayed, does not offer a hot tub. Many thanks for telling us you thought it did! We certainly apologize that this was not made clear in the room description. We will definitely take another look at our website. We can imagine your disappointment when you viewed the hot tub outside and surmised it to be included in your stay and sadly broken. Actually, it is a brand new tub that we are in the process of installing. It will be up and running soon and will then be included with the Salal room at a rate that reflects the use of a private deck and hot tub. Things often run at a snail's pace out here on this very remote and rural island.🐌 Additionally, we must have again been remiss in not informing you that there is public transportation on the island in the summer as well as taxi service. Many of our guests choose the "no car" option. Again, thank you for staying with us. Please return when that hot tub is up and running! In the meantime we will do a better job at informing guests of just what each room offers. Without your excellent feedback we would have been unaware.
