"The good....The room was really clean, the decor was beautiful and the bed was so so comfortable. There was a lot of pillows, the AC worked great, and there were plugs on the bedside walls, next to the side tables to charge phones etc. It was downtown , and the staff was kind.
The ok...The bathroom was mostly clean, but dirt was built up in the corners of the bathroom floors, the paint was chipped along the floor boards, the jetted tub showed signs of corrosion. I was really looking forward to having a jetted tub and a relaxing bath in it when I booked, but after seeing that decided against it.
At check in we asked about the closest bar and were pointed across the street rather then the bar area AT THE HOTEL. The information about the hotel said there was refreshments like water and coffee in common areas. There was what looked like it used to be a jar of ice water with lemon but it was fairly empty with warm room temperature water when we arrived, and there was no coffee. So...no water or coffee.
Also there was no parking. You had to park on the street, or pay to park in the public parking next door or pay for valet parking which was $24 or $25 a night. (That also was not mentioned when booking.)
The elevator was gross. There was garbage, dirt, and grime on the floor of it and fingerprints all over the inside of it. It had not been cleaned in what looked like a long time."
"The room was hot all night, we reported it and a boat guy came to fiddle with the vents and it did nothing. We sweated for two nights, no other rooms, was promised a free night and a new room but in the morning it was a different story. 801 prime is represented on your website yet. It is not there. The buffet is nasty and I wouldn’t pay $30 a plate for it ever again. Your bar has a limited alcohol and your staff doesn’t know how to leave people alone when they’re trying to have a dinner or a drink."
"Room was average on cleanliness, had missing lamp bulbs. The issue is the air conditioning. We have stayed here multiple times and on every stay, you can NOT get the room cool enough to sleep comfortably. We even brought a fan and woke up sweating. Unfortunately we will be trying somewhere else close by on our next trip."
