"I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 25 years
It’s still a lovely property and a nice place to stay, But unfortunately a number of its wonderful facilities are now no longer available. The Amazing 25 m lap pool is now closed and the superb cocktail bar with city views is also now closed.
I am wondering if Okura maybe considering exiting this property ??? "
"French restaurant, breakfast without butter in French restaurant!!! What about eating French way without knife?! I hunted down a 1 inch roach just outside of French restaurant!"
"Absolute great experience here, no complaints. Hotel isnt to far from the train station, and near a bunch of great restaurants that also stay open late. Complimentary beer hour at the bar for hotel guests always a win. Staff were fantastic they made checking in super easy and were incredibly nice. Lady that checked me in spoke great english and an absolute joy. Would definitely stay here again."
"The staff at the hotel were excellent in their professionalism and helpfulness. The facilities were as you’d expect in a budget hotel, providing pyjamas, hair brush, toothbrush and toothpaste, towels, razor, cotton buds, hairdryer etc. The beds were very comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel. The only negative is that the decor is dated, but that can add a little something extra to your stay to be honest. Our room, 318, had a great view of Mt Fuji."
