"Wow what a hotel outside the city stunning views of the river amazing pool and hotel employees all so helpful friendly couldn’t do enough. Went slightly out of season so not all facilities such as roof top bar available but didn’t soil the use of the hotel will definitely return and you can walk into Porto so good exercise cab only €8 away from the hustle and bustle of the city allowing you to chill out as well."

"It was absolutely incredible from the first second to the last. Everything from check in, to how clean and comfortable it was, to the smile goodbye. I think what really set them aside from the rest is how the employees really felt like they were happy to be there and were looking to go above and beyond at every second. "The hotel and the staff are excellent, my only complaint was with the air conditioning which was not working and the room would get very hot and made it difficult to sleep. The staff tried to do everything possible to accommodate us but the problem could be solved, besides this issue I fully recommend this hotel. The hotel is great, it does make you feel you are in a castle, the staff is magnificent, they really go out of their way to serve you in every way possible. "

"The location of the hotel was very convenient. 2 in walk from Sao Bento train station. Convenient for uptown or downtown excursions. It was frustrating that in order to get a balcony I had to get a Jr suite - this Jr suite was not eligible for upgrade since it was the best. The rooms and bed was comfortable and clean. The chairs and couch in front room were rigid and uncomfortable. Staff at front were uninviting. The bar was rarely staffed with anyone that knew how to mix a drink. "
