"The park was beautiful. We were disappointed that we were not able to see many of the highlights due to road closures because of flooding but we saw many beautiful sites with much historical significance "
"We stayed in the cottages and it was a wonderful choice. Each cottage has a living room, a bath with a large tiled shower and a bedroom. The A/C worked quietly and well- a necessity when the temp is over 100. Plus it was very quiet at night which I appreciated. There was a large spring-fed swimming pool that was great for cooling off. The restaurants on site are good and convenient although a little pricey. It was great having a home base within the park. "
