They have a place in front for you to stop and unload and offer valet parking which was great. Go and eat at Trattoria di Nino right next door as is exceptional."

"Terrific room. they upgraded us as soon as we arrived out of the blue. Location is perfect. Parking: don't overthink it. there is one parking garage South of the city and one North. just park at the Porta de Catania parking garage and walk the six minutes to this hotel."

"My husband and I both loved this beautiful hotel. From the time we were checked in by the lovely Ada, until the sad time when we had to leave. The hotel is lovely and the views are breathtaking. Our room was great and had a large terrace that looked out at Mt. Etna and the coastline below. Walter was great at driving us into town and back, as well as being informative about the area. The restaurant had a great view and a delicious choice of food on the menu. The breakfasts were also incredible! Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. We were already looking at available dates of when we could come back. It’s definitely a place we will return to again. Highly recommend this hotel and their wonderful, caring staff."

"Large clean bright room with a view of the sea. Excellent breakfast with lots to choose from on a sunny terrace overlooking the sea. It's a few hundred metres out of the centre of Taormina which makes it very quiet at night. Also a few steps to the start of the mountain path to Castellamora. They parked the car off-site for €20 a day."

"Hotel Sonia is set in a stunning setting clinging to the side of a mountain overlooking Mt Etna. She is beautiful but in need of an update and more care around the property. It is clean, the staff helpful and courteous, the rooms ok, breakfast is great, bar service ok, and the village it is in is definitely worth the detour."
