"Room was clean. Decor a bit outdated. Nice lobby area. Didn’t use the spa or the restaurant so can’t speak on that. Pool room was clean and pool was nice. Was very cold but still usable "

"We mostly went for the water park but after being there shortly we was made aware someone was taking photos of little girls and immediately left- went to the arcade and most of them was out of service or not on. The water park was also smaller than we expected and very rusted out in areas. The rooms and bathrooms was out dated as well but I will say thank you to the cleaning lady who gave us extra towels after the one said they didn’t have extra. Overall we probably wouldnt come back."

"Breakfast was delicious - eggs, sausages, croissant or English muffins, cereal, pancakes - the works. Much nicer than the "Continental" breakfasts many hotels have. Hotel staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and the staff member even upgraded us to a room with a hot-tub! (This was GREATLY appreciated after I got us lost on a hike and we ended up walking over 7 miles for 6 hours while birding, and our sore muscles NEEDED that hot soak!) The room was clean and quiet. Many thanks to the staff of Stoney Creek Inn in Galena, IL!"
