We stayed in several hotels in Sri Lanka and the meaning of the term Deluxe room is very different to what we would regard as a deluxe room in the west and I think it is important to realise this. We were upgraded from our Deluxe room at the Hasara and had a lovely room with very good air conditioning, en suite, and TV, balcony and views. "It's closer to Galle Fort. The staff are nice & helpful. But, all other facilities are basic and no hot water shower system and bath room is not clean. Old packets of tea / Coffee & sugar in the room. So, I couldn't make a cup of tea. "
