"We loved Dream Villa! It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location! The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c. Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!"

"Quiet, clean and relaxing guesthouse. Owner very friendly, considerate and helpful. Good breakfast with some Sri Lankan specialties. A/C in the rooms and a ceiling fan that can be turned up high if preferred to A/C. Bed very comfortable and spotless sheets. Short tuk tuk ride from the fort (maybe 2km?) for $1.50. Little hard to find at first without calling - mention Bandaranayika Place to tuk tuk. Maybe a clearer sign on the road by the drive? and the ebookers map showed it near the coast road...

"Paid online. No one was there when we went to check in. Dogs growling at us viciously. We were forced to leave and find another place to stay. Still waiting to get our money back. I don't think that will happen as we have waited 4 days for a response to or email. Don't waste your money or time on this place. It states is 200 metres from centre of galle but its at least a 5000 rupee tuk tuk to get anywhere near galle city centre. Terrible experience, waste of my money."

" The location couldn’t be better, if you are seeking a quiet, out-of-the-way stay, yet in the center of it all. Heading down a narrow gravel alley, this quaint guesthouse is bright, spacious, clean and cheerful. The photos in the listing are quite accurate and reflecting the charm of this inn. My hosts were incredibly gracious and welcoming. Breakfast and tea are easy to linger over on the upstairs patio. I spent a glorious, unhurried hour up there with a book, and I could easily have dozed...

"It's closer to Galle Fort. The staff are nice & helpful. But, all other facilities are basic and no hot water shower system and bath room is not clean. Old packets of tea / Coffee & sugar in the room. So, I couldn't make a cup of tea. "

"Nice homestay with a lovely garden. 4km from the city centre. The open-air skylight in the bathroom is a lovely touch but it also lets the bugs in. The owner and is family are very welcoming. Breakfast was good and sufficient."
