"Set in a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. The village is about 2-3 miles away but don't take the car. The roads just get narrower and narrower and are extremely steep. The hotel has no lift but we were given a room on the ground floor as my husband has problems with stairs. The downside of this was that we were awoken by a table top sale being set up right outside our window by some very noisy Brits. We arrived a day ahead of the remainder of the tour group so we were able to enjoy the property by ourselves. The hotel, sitting atop a hill overlooking the countryside, is quiet and understated, blending well with its surroundings. The town, with its restaurants and shops, is a quick walk away. The restaurant offers a buffet breakfast that includes eggs, bacon and sausage cooked as ordered. Lunch and dinner were also very good, with a variety of menu options. An outdoor patio serves drinks and snacks. The entire hotel staff was very attentive and professional. A delightful young lady named Ledy was especially helpful in the restaurant. If we happen to visit the area again, we will definitely return to the Parador."
