"This was a nice place to stay, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved how isolated it is, and it had great views of the stars. The description is misleading/wrong though. You do not get a whole cottage to yourself. It it more of a duplex where the host lives on one side of the building. It says to get keys from the neighbor which we assumed was a different house, but its not and the actual neighbor is quite annoyed that people keep showing up asking for keys. "I don’t know where to begin. What a beautiful, beautiful spot. Check in was easy and quick. The staff were so kind. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were housed in a joining room which was perfect for our family of 4. Our favourite part was the food. We booked a reservation for the night of our arrival. The Mac and cheese on the kids menu was the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had (of course I had to eat some of our kids’ meals lol). The beds were exceptionally comfortable! We were blown away by the breakfast - complementary to your stay and it was phenomenal. I didn’t realize it was part of our stay so I was quite shocked when we didn’t have to pay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying on the Isle of Skye. It’s a perfect spot to stay if you’re doing a northern Skye loop (old man of Storr, kilt rock, quiraing etc). This definitely is more than a 3 star hotel in my opinion! I’d choose a spot like this over a Sheraton any day. "
