Really enjoyed staying at this location! The house was very clean as well as the property. Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet so you'll definitely get to enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch in the mornings. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

There was a fire ant infestation which had started before we arrived because when I moved a trash can to kill more ants there were dead ants under the trash can. There were ants in the master closet, bath, bedroom, kitchen and another bedroom. Ants were even in one of the beds. Also, there was no additional toilet paper or paper towels, so we had to go to the store to buy extra since we had 9 people. The house was beautiful, the view of the pond was great, and its location was excellent to the pool and the beach. There is only one couch that seats 3-4 people, which really needs to be upgraded to a sectional for the number of people that the house sleeps. They give you a pool code but there is no place to enter a code, so unless someone is at the pool, you can’t get in. Overall, we loved the location and how nice the house was but were frustrated with the lack of pool access and the ants really made it frustrating.

My family and I enjoyed our trip, this rental property was an absolute dream. Loved the lake view from the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom mattresses were so comfortable and the convenience of a washer and dryer was a plus. The beach was a short distance from where we were staying. Overall this was an excellent experience.

Beach Getaway

Sandy Smiles property was perfect for my family especially since it is pet friendly. We had stayed here for the weekend because my gym was having a beach get together at Terramar Beach and this was perfect! They proved you with a code to the pool which we did not take advantage of but enjoyed watching it from the balcony. The balcony also over looks the lake and other nearby properties. All we had to do was drive or walk across the street and enjoy the beach. Three things that were kind of a pain were the sugar ants especially on the master bathroom countertop. Also when we got there the master bathroom had bowel movement stains that I had to clean. I clean the toilet anywhere I stay but never stayed where it had visible stains in the bowl on arrival day. The property stated they cleaned it before we arrived. Also we tried to get the code on the fishing pier that the guy at the store told my husband that may be available to us. We called and spoke with customer service, who told us they were not sure and would get back to us but they never did. The property comes equipped with almost all household items you would need and cleaning supplies. There is a three burner grill in the shed, Boogie Boards and an outside shower to rinse off the sand. Loved that the property gave us options where my family and I can enjoy the outdoors. Beside the few things I listed as cons I would stay here again.
