Absolutely fantastic breakfast, service and cat!

Absolutely great B&B. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed during the whole stay. Really, really good and abundant breakfast with lots of options, friendly and flexible service, clean and spacious facilities and quiet location right next to city centre. Oh, and our shower was good with nice water pressure. It took maybe 6 - 8 minutes to walk from the main train station to this B&B. And it was approximately 9 minutes walk from this B&B to Eyre square, so location was really close to everything. There was also a lovely cat in the house who we completely fell in love with! We really liked this place and would be ready to stay with them again if we end up travelling to Galway again. A warm recommendation from us.

From arrival to departure we were treated like royalty. We received a full Irish breakfast in the morning without having it included within our booking. The breakfast was delicious. Our host allowed us to park all day to allow us explore the city. The B&B is in an excellent location only a 5 min walk to all the central spots. Definitely will stay here on my return to Galway.

Was our last minute booking but absolutely happy choice . Kids were very happy because they find new friend ( cat). Staff was very friendly and helpful!! Owner should definitely invest some money to update the rooms. Few minutes to train station, city centre and practically everything.

Comfortable, charming

College Crest is a charming Bed and Breakfast within easy walking distance of Galway’s city centre. My wife and I stayed here two nights. The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good. If you are looking for comfortable, unpretentious, and affordable accommodations in Galway, stay at the College Crest.

Excellent Staff and Location.

Location was great and onsite parking a plus. Check In was a breeze with great advice on where to go in town for the best music and food. Breakfast excellent. Hotel was very accommodating to the infant in our party. Would stay again.

This was located less than 5 minutes from the downtown and had good parking for the car. The room was clean although the bath was tiny but totally functional. The coffee was robust and excellent. Staff very pleasant.

Lovely place

Loved, loved, loved it here. The head woman was lovely, helpful, and nice. The breakfast was great, and the best of all is that the hotel has a cat just as nice. It's about a ten minute walk to Shop street, which was perfect for us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

二度と利用しません！！！

夫婦で行きました。評判の良い宿だったので、楽しみにしていました。きちんと予約していたのにも関わらず、やっとたどり着いたら、女主人にテープ止めしたメモ書きをひとつもたされ、別の宿に自分たちで行くように言われました。行ってみると、格下の口コミの宿で、コップも一つしかなく、部屋もかなり劣るものでした。しかも、料金はクレジットで払わされた後で、メモを見てみると「機嫌よくそちらに行かれます」と書いてありました。いきなりだったので、こちらも何が何だかわからず、せめて同クラスの宿であろうと勝手に解釈していたので、抗議することもできず、情けなく、悔しい思いでいます。ごめんなさいの一言も、どうしてこうなったかの説明もなく、アイルランドの印象が悪くなりました。この投稿を削除したら、ホテルズドットコムさんも二度と利用しません。
