The Sea Breeze is a beautiful and well run place. Fred, the owner, greets you with warmth and it feels like you’ve are a long awaited guest when you walk through the door. There were so many special things waiting for you when you arrive; a glass of wine, fresh fruit, snacks, even fresh cut roses in your room. All of it was done in a professional and caring way. Then there is the rooms themselves. Comfy bed with beautiful linens, a beautiful bathroom with high end finishing a, even a towel warmer! We were on the top floor and our skylights even opened to enjoy the fresh air!
If I ever return to Galway I would not hesitate to stay at the Sea Breeze again.
The Seabreeze Lodge is immaculate! The owner couldn’t have been more accommodating! The breakfast was excellent with homemade pastries and hot food to order. The location on Salthill was convenient to Galway Bay and the city. We highly recommend!
We had a lovely experience at the Sea Breeze Lodge! Excellent hospitality. We enjoyed the extra touches to our room including fresh fruit and flowers, snacks and complimentary water and soft drinks. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were also fantastic. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Galway overnight!
This is a spacious, well appointed, beautifully maintained guest house with all the comforts of home. The gracious, accommodating host has thought of everything. Our room was sparkling clean, beds were comfy, bath was luxuriously new and spacious, all with a lovely water view our large windows. 10/10!
This is our second stay at Sea Breeze and it was just as wonderful as our first visit.
Fred and his staff are very kind and welcoming. The rooms are spotless, well organized and maintained.
For breakfast you have a great selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, cheeses, granola then several hot items to select from. The orange juice is freshly squeezed. The breakfast area is very nice as you see out to the backyard where there are so many plants, trees and shrubs which makes it very easy to relax.
Thanks Fred for your hospitality and if we are back in Galway again we will most definitely book our stay at your home!

If you’re looking for a place where the personal preferences and schedule of the innkeeper take priority over your holiday, this is the place for you. The property communicated that check-in was from 4 to 7, and that to check in later would cost an additional 60 euros. However, we were travelling from the south with plans to spend a little time in Killarney National Park, as well as a stop at the Cliffs of Moher. We just could not make the deadline without altering our plans. He left our key taped to the front door. When we went downstairs the next morning for breakfast, we were greeted by our disgruntled innkeeper. He confronted us, actually. In the hearing of some of the other guests. Rather than welcoming us to his B&B, he said, “Well, it’s the Late Arrivers,” as though that were our name. Then, “I sent you an email 7 days ago letting you know to arrive before 7 pm.” Then he paused, waiting for an explanation. We stood there in stunned silence for about 3 seconds not knowing what to even say. He then gave us body language that said he was waiting for an answer. I told him “We couldn’t make it” and then moved past him. We literally felt scolded by this man as though we were school-aged children that needed to be corrected. How this inhospitable man made his way into the hospitality industry is a mystery. We are both 60 now, so we’ve done quite a bit of travelling through the years. But this rude experience puts this place in the bottom 5 worst experiences of all time.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Sehr liebevoll gestaltet, mit viel Sorgfalt und Liebe.Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Amazing property. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Galway. Very clean place with amazing views. Very close to Salthill Prom and the city center.
Fred’s hospitality is second to none. All sorts of snacks and treats are in the room, the breakfast is wonderful and I felt like a very valued guest. Thank you so much!
Our stay at SeaBreeze was met with perfection from beginning to end. Fred is an exceptional host who showed us to our well provisioned room with fresh fruit, cheese, nuts etc… and insured we had everything necessary for our stay. The room had view a beautiful view of the coastline and sunset. Breakfast in the morning was exceptionally tasty, varied and presented beautifully, served in the sunroom while soft music played in the background. The cheery staff started the day off brilliantly. A truly nice experience all the way.
The staff, particularly Fred, were wonderful. The property is clean, elegant, beautifully decorated and the breakfast was wonderful. If you're looking for a serene place to stay and look over the bay, this is it.
I don't have much experience with B & Bs specifically but our stay at the Sea-Breeze surpassed any expectations I may have had. We were greeted at the door by our host Fred who immediately made us feel welcome in his "home." He offered us complimentary beverages (displayed nicely in the beautifully decorated seating area) then showed us to our rooms. The rooms were gorgeous, clean and spacious. Fresh fruit, nuts, candy & flowers on the counter top with crackers & cheese & water in the fridge. Again, all complimentary.
Beds were extremely comfortable & breakfast was delicious! Presented so beautifully in the sunroom. And, on our last day, when we had to leave early to catch a flight, Fred and his staff accommodated us by preparing an early meal. Such a lovely ending to our fabulous trip to Ireland. I highly recommend the Sea-Breeze Lodge - true Irish hospitality with a French flair
Excellent service, breakfast was great. The location was convenient and the rooms were extremely clean. If we are given the opportunity to go back to Ireland we will definitely stay here again.
Perfection! Everything about this place is so well thought out, there is attention to detail everywhere you look. Very comfortable modern rooms, a lovely conservatory where the delicious breakfast is served. There are eating options within walking distance and a short drive into the main part of Galway.
PROS:

Lite snacks in room (cheese, crackers, fruit, water)
Electronic shades

Um not sure there were any!
This places was great, host in business over 2 decades and has honed his art of hospitality beautifully. Would stay again for sure.
