"This barn conversion is quite spacious, including a large entrance hall downstairs where you can leave wet and muddy gear if you get soaked in the rain like we did. The decor is a little tired in places, but overall it is a clean and comfortable place to stay. We appreciated there not being an additional fee for bringing a dog. The location is good, just a short walk from the centre of Dolgellau, with plenty to do in the local area. However, the map pin we were sent directed us to the north side...

"The house was beautiful and a perfect setting! We loved the blackberries in the garden, space for the bikes (although not secure), large rooms etc.. the double beds were pretty comfy, although the kids singles were a bit less comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, excellent modern cooker, doors could shut so you didn’t have to wake the house up having a coffee-all great! Only downside was the tv, the Amazon stick did not work so we had no smart functions or Netflix etc..all fine but...

"Superb views from the lounge and bedrooms of the sea, the harbour and the mountains. A minute from the railway station. Very comfortable. Everything provided. Owners onsite if any problems. As a 75 year old the bath was tricky to get into to have a shower although a stool was provided, and the stairs up to the apartment were also a bit tricky for the less mobile. "Good check in. Staff really friendly and helpful. Rokm was ok. Bit tired in parts. Floor very uneven and sloped in parts but it's an old building so to be expected I guess. Dinner was lovely but the tables were very sticky.either need a good scrub or a change in cleaning fluid. Breakfast was lovely and reasonably priced. Views are beautiful. Would stay again"
