"The staff are excellent. Keep in mind you're staying in a train car - it can be a little tight but it's exactly as advertised. Just bring in what you need. It was nice to park right at our caboose. Our 4 year old loved the bunk beds - and I actually found them more firm & comfortable than the double bed (and I'm 6'2, 250#).
We did find the overall accommodations could used a more thorough cleaning (some dead bugs around windows and baseboards). Some additional maintenance would help spruce things up a bit (hole in bathroom door, switch covers not covering the cutout). These were BY NO MEANS dealbreakers, though - and not even something we'd raise with the staff - especially on our short stay. The AC units were a little loud, but we were happy to have them in 90 degree heat!
The location is beautiful, quiet, and convenient to Lancaster and Strasburg attractions. The petting zoo was nice to have onsite. We had a great time and will stay here again. It was a fun little adventure!"

"Check in was quick and easy. I like the new feature of checking in online before arrival, made it much easier once I arrived. While the room and property were generally clean, it is time to replace/repair some items. Bathroom door was splintered at the base, holes in walls, etc."
"Wonderful stay second time visiting in the summer . The property is very clean and housekeeping does a wonderful job with the clean rooms which is makes for a relaxing vacation . Everyone is so friendly . The resort is an amazing especially for families . The amenities are wonderful to keep them busy . It really feels like a vacation away from home . The food is mediocre but so convenient but so reasonable . But i recommend venturing out to nearby restaurants as well . There’s also a diner coffee and co literally 2min away . Lancaster is so beautiful it’s worth venturing out . Thank Eden for a great stay keep up the good work ."
"Rooms were pretty clean. Check-in staff was working on several clients (including phone clients) at the same time while checking in a few of us waiting at the desk. The breakfast was good and offered a great variety. Maybe a greater variety of fruits could be added. The breakfast staff was very pleasant. Parking was a little dicey as we came in late one night. Check out was very quickly as I had already pre-paid online. I would stay here again."
"Our stay was okay overall. The hotel was under renovation, so we were assigned a handicap-accessible room. Check-in was easy, the location was convenient, and we appreciated that coffee was available at all times. We also appreciated that they welcomed our dog, Lola, for a reasonable $25 pet fee.
The accessible room wasn’t the best fit for us. The bed was right next to the air conditioner, which made it uncomfortable for my husband, and the bathroom had only a wall-mounted sink with a small table beside it, leaving very little space for toiletries. Other than that, the room was clean, and the staff was pleasant."
"This property was very unique in its location and roadside presentation. The owners were very nice, patient and knowledgeable of the area; and most pleasant to be around. Will definitely stay again on our next vacation to Lancaster, PA area."
