"Clean comfortable and quiet with very helpful and friendly staff. They were new managers but tried their best to steer us to local sights. Paid hot breakfast eggs sausage bagels and more available for $8+tax. Recommended. Also, close to Cavendish Beach, Anne of Green Gables center and walking distance to The Lost Anchor for excellent fish n chips. The house itself has close ties to LMM's story. Recommend highly."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Trudy assisted us with an issue immediately and Leo in the Breakfast Room was super friendly, always cheerful and very helpful. Mike was very easy to deal with at check-in and quite friendly. This is an older property but very well maintained. I would highly recommend the Cavendish Motel for anyone looking of a good, clean room and easy access to all of P.E. I. Stayed for 4 nights and able to explore the Island easily from this central point."

"This property was as advertised. Modest housekeeping units with partial water views. Small kitchen with limited countertop space for food prep. To know before you book: 1. This is one of those odd places in PEI where lobster cooking is not allowed in your unit. You can book an outside cooker if you plan in advance. The place we stayed earlier on our trip had a lobster pot, crackers, and the works in the rooms; here one of the island's key draws is verboten. 2. Bring everything you need to cook with you. Unlike many other properties, there is nothing here to work with in the way of staples. No oils, spices, or anything. Again, other places like this where we have stayed have provided at least some basic cooking oil, a few everyday spices, and the like. Count on starting from scratch here. 3. Bring your own coffee and tea; again, there was little to work with here. 4. Consider bringing earplugs; there is significant sound bleed between the two sides of shared cottages. This said, the property is well located, clean, pet friendly, and check-in and check-out was a breeze."

"We stayed with a pet in a duplex cottage at end of season (mid-October), and liked the quiet country location, expansive grounds, and amenities in nearby North Rustico and its harbor. The accomodations were clean, adequately furnished and fairly priced. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the Bay of St. Lawrence from the deck one morning, and in warmer weather would have spent more time there. Our cottage was set back about 50 yards from the road, which was great if you travel with pets. Bathroom was a bit cramped, and the very loud fan needs repair or replacement, but overall Dreamweavers more than met our needs. Be sure to check out the Olde VIllage Bakery (we had to stop there every time we passed it) and Blue Mussel Cafe nearby, and the beach at the National Park in Cavendish. "
