"We booked two nights stay at Surfside resort. Check in Wednesday 5/27 to Friday 5/29 check out. We are vacationing on the Oregon coast. On Thursday morning, we went out for a visit to the town. We put out the “room Service please” sign on the door. Returned home around 4 PM to find out our room keys were not working. We checked with the person at the front desk. He discovered that they had checked us in for only one day rather than the two days that we had paid for. We told him we needed the maid service and the linen replaced. We had been out on a hike and we had some dirty linen and the room needed clean up. He told us that you have to be in your room between 10 and 12 noon and let the maid know you want the room serviced. We told him that we are here to visit the town and why would we stay in the room to talk to the maid? Besides, the front desk had not assigned the room to us for a second night. The maid would have no reason to check with us about cleaning the room. The front desk told us they cannot clean the room. He did not even offer us a set of clean linens I am very upset with the way we were treated. We did enjoy the Motel location right on the beach with partial view of the ocean. Thank you for listening"

"We booked this room at the last minute litterly just a couple of days prior to our arrival. The booking was as stated in the website, no hidden fees once we arrived at the establishment. It was a quite stay tho right on the main hwy right thru town. Was nice to have morning coffee in the room, prior to leaving at such an early hour. Motel is nextdoor to a Chinese restraunt for dinner, and across the street from a little bakery that has Awesome FRESH BAKED PASTRIES AND DONUTS for breakfast and just a 1 min drive from McDonalds for a breakfast and coffee stop, if preferred. It was a very plesent stay for my husband and I. We will be recomending this motel to others."

"I thought this property was clean, had everything we needed for our family group of 5, close access to the beach w/ an amazing ocean view. I would book again at this location ! The only thing I would complain about is not having a tv in the bedroom. There was only a tv in the living room."

"The location is fantastic. I have stayed at these cabins a couple of times, and the value for the money is becoming less and less. It's a little disappointing to see the lack of maintenance in the units, to see piles of broken doors and building debris around the cabins, and wear and tear accumulating. This time the deck was so rotten, someone heavier is going to fall through it. Let's not wait until they become a health, life, safety concern. Please maintain these better. This is such a cute property."
