"Check the weather before you book. It stormed 1 day of oir stay and water ran in the windows, flooded the windows sill and the ac unit under the windows. Lobby flooded back to about 10 feet from the front. The gym windows leaked just as bad. The front desk fellow was great but had a hard time finding us another room that was not leaking from the windows. Others stated their ceiling was leaking on the 3rd floor. This is a corporate or management issue. Very clearly not the first time. Curtains in all rooms are water marked up to about 8 inches up the curtain. Obvious ongoing issue that is being ignored or very poor attempts to cheaply bandaid a major problem. Shower spout pulls off the wall when you turn the shower on. Carpets in both rooms we were in were damp. Towels were all damp. Tv got few channels without visual and auditory static. My granddaughters found an old random remote somewhere on the floor. Whole hotel felt wet. We felt bad for the staff who were great but had to be the ones who dealt with poor management of the very run down building."
"Stayed 2 nights here with family. Clean rooms and premises. Breakfast was good , especially the biscuits and white gravy sauce. One of the best I’ve had even at restaurants. Easy parking. Cookies and lemonade available at the door. Big bottles of dove handwash, lotion , body soap, hair shampoo and conditioner. I would recommend staying here."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham-Red Oak TX IH-35E
8/10 Good
"Hotel was very good and comfortable. Only issue was hard to get in due to construction and no signage to help get in. Took time to figure out how to get im"
"We have stayed at ;this La Quinta before, several years ago and it was more than decent. It was not new then, but it was well maintained and inviting . I appears to me that it has not been well maintained. It appears to be receiving only what is necessary to be acceptable to ownership. The breakfast was terrible. Even the coffee was bad.
I have always liked La Quinta Inns, but this experience was not good and I will not be back there again."
