A clean and well managed property. Comfortable beds. Older bathroom fixtures but recently refreshed paint and flooring throughout. Good breakfast. We had an adjoining suite with noisy neighbors. The connecting door is not sound deadening. And if you are in the extended stay suites you may get unwanted cooking odor.

Great stopover on our way up north. Convenient to have the pullout couch so the kids didn't fight for space and we could all get some sleep. Nice breakfast options, but we wish they had more egg-free options.

This hotel was brand new and super clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. My teens enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. We use the kitchen to cook for food allergies and it worked out great. Would definitely stay here again.

Finding the motel took some doing. It is tucked in behind another motel, right near the expressway. There was no noise traffic through the night. We would stay there again. The breakfast was good, and there was a Starbucks inside the grocery store near by for those who like stronger coffee.

Beautiful hotel

This is a beautiful hotel in excellent condiiton and in a convenient location. It seemed like it was new. The breakfast is much better than the usual continental breakfast that you get at most hotels. The staff was very friendly. We were there for a trip to Mackinaw Island, which is about an hour away, and we liked it so much we extended our stay by a day. I also recommend the German Restaurant which is right down the road in the Alpine area of Gaylord.

The kitchenette was a very nice touch. The room appeared to be very clean, however due to the pets that had previously been through the room, my wife coughed our entire stay. I felt sorry for the neighbors. Its too bad people dont rank higher than an animal in the world we live in. Clean, but I'll go across the ex-way to the hotels where the animals aren't allowed next time

The only thing I didn’t like was that it was like a bar in the lobby last night. There were 30 plus people in the lobby drinking and being very loud for hours on end. Not something you like to see when you have two little ones Made me feel uneasy honestly.

Breakfast was wonderful. The pool was also great. The hot tub had a very strong propane smell when you turned on the bubbles. But the ambiance of the little area was nice besides that. Our sofa bed had a very large urine stain on it. When we went to the front desk, we were basically told too bad since it was fully booked. No offer to take money off, move us to a new room the next night, just a new set of sheets. We specifically booked this room for the 3 beds and had to deal with 2 for our entire trip. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel.
