"Antonio and Barbara were wonderful to deal with! They were so kind and helpful during our 4 night stay. The room was spacious and cleaned well everyday. The balcony was large and pleasant to spend time on. It also had a clothing drying rack with pins which was very helpful when we needed to do laundry in the middle of our trip or dry our bathing suits after a beach day. The garden on the property is also beautiful and full of flowers and greenery. Street parking was free and it is conveniently located about a 3 min walk away from the Conad (grocery store). The main strip with restaurants and shopping was located within 5 min walking distance. Antonio very kindly loaned us beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella during our stay so that we could enjoy the beautiful nearby beaches with extra comfort. We greatly appreciated that as we were able to enjoy the free beaches, which tended to be a lot better than the paid ones with rentals. My only real (and VERY minor) complaint is the breakfast. It is a perfectly adequate cafe style breakfast with fruit and pastries. Barbara makes great coffee and fresh juice. I just wish there was more option for eggs, bacon, toast. Personally, I'd happily pay more for these options. Overall, our stay here was great. We would recommend Il Girasole to anybody visiting Vallisimius. It is obvious how much care and attention Barbara and Antonio put into the property. It made for a very pleasant stay and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!"

"Our stay at VOI Tanka Village in Sardinia was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and helpful staff. The resort itself is stunning – set amid lush gardens and just a short stroll from one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dining options were excellent, with a variety of delicious local and international dishes to choose from. The breakfast buffet was a particular highlight, with plenty of fresh fruits, pastries, and even local specialties. What really stood out was the range of activities available (lounging by the pool, joining a yoga class, or participating in sports activities), there was something for everyone. I would like to congratulate the amazing team that looks after the Kids Mini club and particularly Matteo, Claudia, Julia, Juliana, Veronica, Fredertica and Danielle. We were truly impressed by the incredible care and enthusiasm shown by the Kids’ Club team. From the moment we arrived, they made our son feel welcome and excited to be part of the club. Matteo and Claudia are fantastic with the kids, bringing so much energy and creativity to the daily activities. They always had a smile on their face, and their friendly approach made our son feel comfortable and confident. Whether it was outdoor games, or playing at the pool and beach, they kept everyone engaged and happy. Thanks to them, the Kids’ Club became a highlight of our trip."

"We are repeat guests of this place. We love it and we love the staff, Barbara , Sergei, Giovanni, Antonio , the chef , the housekeepers and the rest of the crew. They are all so kind and helpful and very service minded. The food is top notch, and they serve their own wine and olive oil from their own gardens. The outside gym is one of our favorite parts of this place. It’s a beautiful hotel with elegant decoration and the location is unbeatable. The owners are so kind and they really care about their guests. We will be back many times for many more years to come. "

"Very spacious apt , clean and great communication with staff, 2 supermarkets across the road which was excellent, and plenty of free parking which was even a bonus. Overall a great place to stay and explore all the fantastic beaches around the area. Only downside was a building site across the road from our balcony but that was a minor issue."

"Mid September- basic accommodation which could be made so much nicer. Decor inside apt basic and old fashioned. Equipment for kitchen needs updating not even a kettle and could have had salt and pepper, sugar/oil or anything to make stay better. No microwave or oven just a hob. Hotel grounds were nice but pool is closed everyday between 13:00 - 15:00 so basically hottest part of day! Sun beds at pool not busy when we were here. Good and drink extortionate which is not unusual for Sardinia it would seem - but you have staff sitting around doing nothing because no one eats or drinks there I would imagine as so expensive. we were two friends and happy to pay more money for nice food but to be honest menu and prices we were not going to pay. Very quiet at resort no one seemed to be around much so lacked atmosphere. Maybe if prices were not so high more people would eat at restaurant/cafe and there would be more atmosphere. To be honest everyone was probably all in their rooms or out as never saw many people despite 25 of 39 rooms full. Room was cleaned maybe once or twice in one week. Sea view apt had small balcony ( not large as in photos ) so you might need to check that before you come if want that specifically. Town is near with some bars and restaurants but again not overly busy but that could be time of year. Nice view. If looking for peaceful relaxing stay. Beach 5-10 min walk along a paved road, hotel has sun beds which they require €35- €50 for 2 & umbrella "
