The hotel occupies part of what was an apartment block. The rooms on the main corridor are easily accessible. However the one I had was up on the 2nd floor, former apartment 4, which is now 5 hotel rooms. One accessed via a door into the old stairwell which isn’t heated and use a small lift with manual doors. Once inside the former apartment there are a few steps here and there. Can’t fault the cleanliness of the room. The double bed appears to be two singles, certainly two single mattresses. Very soft which wasn’t ideal for me. No tea or coffee making facilities. A kettle at least would have been good as the only time you can get a coffee is at breakfast.
Breakfast was limited. I’d like me you’re diabetic and avoiding the sugar then it’s ham, cheese or cereal pretty much or cold boiled eggs.
Quite a few sockets in the room, but no USBs, and whilst it’s double glazed there’s a busy main road outside and plenty of Police and Ambulance sirens to be heard.
It’s a fairly easy walk on the flat to the nearest railway station and regular trains to Milan, Pisa, Rome etc so quite handy as a base for visiting other cities.
The airport shuttle bus starts / ends at the local station (wish I’d checked properly coming in, would have saved a bit of a walk!!) so getting to and from isn’t difficult. You can pay in the bus or buy a €10 24 hour metro ticket.
The Hop On, Hop Off tours also have a stop at the same place so sightseeing is a doddle.
