Best hotel I've ever stayed in. Immaculate comfortable room. Warm, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was amazing. I hope to return soon. We loved the art at the palaces in the old city.

We stayed at the Melia several times on business. This time was vacation and the we had contacted the hotel for restaurant recommendation before our stay. Received a very prompt and friendly reply. We went to one of the recommended restaurants and it was excellent. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and also gave us a great restaurant recommendation.

I'm traveling to Italian 6 cities in three weeks and the MeliĆ  has been an absolute highlight. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was perfect and we had a lovely balcony overlooking Genoa. It was conveniently located, so we could walk to the Piazza (and opera house!), Antico Port, shopping areas and we were 2 minutes from the church where Christopher Columbus was baptized. HIGHLY RECOMMEND that property for your stay in Genoa, one of Italy's underrated gems.
