"This hotel was really good value for money. I would not bother paying for the breakfast as this was over priced. The rooms were clean and comfortable but it did say that it will be changing to a premier inn soon and the rooms will all be having a make over. I would stay here again if returning to Newcastle."
"Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. "So convenient for NCL, a short walk from arrivals. Also, less than 5 minute walk to get rental car in the morning. Finally I was able to get a table in the restaurant, have something to eat and write my report from the days work while waiting for a late flight."
"Great 3 night stay at the Keelman. Check in nice and easy, staff friendly and very helpful. Room was good, big enough for us, and had all we needed, bed comfortable, shower really good, clean and tidy. (Maybe could do with a fridge) the surroundings were very nice, a short walk to the Riverside park. Bar and restaurant were lovely, and nice outside sitting area. Food and beers excellent, especially the Prince Bishop, would definitely stay here again"
"I booked this last minute as our other booking cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for a nearby wedding. Wow this is a gorgeous place. Everything from organising an early check in for us to the lovely breakfast the next day was amazing. Our room was like a suite with a lovely super king bed and the bathroom was also massive. For the price you pay it’s such a good deal and we will be returning and might book the golf or evening meal as add ons. "
