Hotel closed

Hotel closed , and had been for some time , Fortunaty we managed to find alternative accommodation in the town at a " restaurant with rooms " . What checks do Expedia undertake to prevent such incidents happening ? Apparently none, or if they do they are ineffective,

Proprio una "casa" , ma veramente bella!

La Casa di Gianna è proprio una "casa"; è l'abitazione della titolre che ha deciso di adibirla ad albergo. E' una casa meraviglioa che trasuda arte, cultura ed amore per il proprio territorio. Ovviamente, essendo una casa, non ha nè le comodità nè le strutture di un albergo moderno, ma per un breve soggiorno è veramente molto bella.

Five star hideaway!

We stayed for one night while we visited the old town. Hotel was quaint, quiet and perfect for our stay. Luxurious almost collonial surroundings with superb service from Simon ( English speaking a great bonus), who looked after us to the last detail. Lovely breakfast with fruit from the garden.Restaurant unfortunately wasn't open in the evening so we ate at L'Asquella ( also excellent local fare) off the square.

La rovina per il turismo di Gerace

Non è un hotel a 4 stelle! Le lenzuola erano sporche, la doccia nel bagno anche. La colazione scarna e di bassissima qualità. La propietaria è stata poco cortese nei nostri confronti, anzi, ci ha trattati proprio male. Inoltre per un late check-out (di qualche ora) la signora ci ha addebitato un costo stratosferico. Pessimo hotel, pessima qualità, pessimi servizi. Sconsigliato!

hotel à la déco soignée et tres authentique. Beaucoups de gout et de chrame. Situation exellente a GERACE. Neamoins, petit dej' en dessous du niveau **** de l'hotel. Etablissement difficile à trouver avec adresse. Demander au habitant du village.
