"Lovely accommodation food really good and great choice of breakfast. The only fault we had is with parking, after having driven 7 hours we found nowhere to park. We had to park on pavement across road, don't rely on parking being available. I think the great location and setting meant other non residents used the hotel parking."

"Shabby chic hotel, which kind of fits into the environment. This was the second time we stayed here as it’s a perfect overnight stop for us. Yes it needs updating, bathroom decor late 70s, early 80s but all in all, good value for money. Hotel is in a great location for walking, cycling and hiking."

"Everything is just perfect. The room, the spa, breakfast, the meals at the restaurant, the staff. One advice to the hotel: try to fix the shower slippery floor, it is way too slippery and dangerous, especially for old people. Everything else, just perfect. "Basically the hotel restaurant was not open. We checked in and the owner disappeared. We felt like we were the only ones in the hotel. It was a. Dry strange experience. We had a mini bar in our room, but basically it was a trip into nearest town 7k away to get provisions. When we checked out in the morning, we were asked for payment . I explained and showed evidence that we had pre paid. Hotel clearly not used to bookings from Expedia. It was a little uncomfortable for all to say the least."
