Wonderful views and location..the bus station next to the entrance.. and also the ship station.
The staff at the Riviera were amazing. We got to the hotel early after our long flight from the states and they got our rooms immediately allowing us to get a much needed nap. The views from the balcony were to die for. The perfect place for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The hotel was in a perfect location looking onto Lake Lucerne. I had booked a room with a balcony and when we arrived, we were given a family suite with seperate bedroom and sitting room so two balconies! Everything was spotless. The breakfast was plentiful and we had a delicious steak dinner in the onsite restaurant. The staff were all very helpful and we would defitely return again.
Everything is ok except the check in because the hotel staff not always stay at hotel and need phone call him when reach hotel. But the breakfast is good taste and service for them also ok.
Great view of the lake, large and comfortable room, good breakfast. But is it so detrimental to the hotel's financial statement if they have a bootle of water in the room for their guests? A bootle of water guys.
A run down Swiss tourist hotel with terrible facilities and lousy service. Not owned by Swiss. Avoid at all costs.

Misleading location if you're not well-versed with Switzerland's geography. Parking spots may get full, then you're on your own. The hotel doesn't care enough to find you a spot (even though they say they provide parking spots). Don't expect anything in the name of service.
Omg such rude staff. Could not ask a question without an attitude. The manager is obnoxious like he’s doing you a favor. Waitress slammed the food on the table saying she was done working for the day. Bathroom and kitchen were left dirty after house keeping and did not make the beds. I was shocked.

We arrived to the hotel via train & bus with a one-night booking and dinner reservations upon our arrival time. The hotel was closed with lights off and no one in sight. We had to call multiple times to get anyone to answer, and finally, we had someone answer and share that they had an issue with the fire alarm so they had to shut down. When we spoke to someone in town, they told us they shut down every year at this time so it is normal for them to be closed. We booked this hotel months in advance, so they should've known they would be closed and informed us months in advance. We then were stranded in the cold with our two young daughters, both under 5, and the closest available hotel was 2.5 hours away via a private taxi, train and bus. We would've easily found new accommodation months prior if they would've kindly shared that they would be closed at this time of year. I would not recommend this property to anyone given the risk of being stranded without accommodation.

Arrived at 11pm. I had called ahead to confirm this would be ok. When we arrived there isn’t a reception at the hotel, so wandered round looking for staff. Parking was free, on a side street next to the hotel. The staff were very nice, and let us buy something to drink, but since it was so late, unfortunately there wasn’t any food available. (Our fault for getting lost!) The room was nice and clean, and very spacious. There was a fan in the room, a fridge, with a small freezer compartment, and a coffee pod machine. We slept very well. The view across the lake from the balcony was stunning to wake up to! The breakfast was very nice- buffet style.
There wasn’t anyone available for check out, so we just put the key back in the room pigeon hole.
