"Overall okay for one night as it was easy too reach from the motorway, close proximity to a lovely beach, nice bakery round the corner and we were big fans of the blackout blinds. However, we didn’t have duvets when we arrived so had to call someone from Holiday Suites as there is no reception staff at this hotel. The problem was quickly solved but what was even more annoying was the fact that we had to make our own beds. When we asked the lady who provided us with the duvets in the end if this was normal, she confirmed it was, unless we had booked it as an additional service. Not sure I would have been happy to pay more for a service that seems standard absolutely everywhere we have stayed in the passed. The pillow covers where also too small for the pillows which made them extremely uncomfortable to sleep on and in addition the security rail on the bunk bed was broken with nails sticking out. We were told someone would come to fix it but that wasn’t the case. Guests should also be made aware that there is no shower gel and not even any hand soap in the bathroom. "

"Check-in easy and staff friendly and helpful. Room very cheap and cheerful with a clean comfy bed - bathroom a little whiffy from the drains. Didn’t have the breakfast so can’t review that. Free parking. Overall, we slept well and carried on our road trip happy. "
