"Inexpensive room for a quick overnight stay to leave early in morning for skiing at Dodge. If you just need to sleep and shower, this is good. Quaint room, felt like we were in a museum house that was good for show but not for use. Good for the price"
"Stay wasnt good. Wanted a get away with my girl and they stuck me in a crap room. Not the romantic getaway i thought. The shower i could barely turn around in. Taking a crap, my whole leg was forced to be against the tile wall. The door had so much space in the cracks that the hallway light shined like the sun into the room at night. Paid so much money for a room that wasnt even as good as a motel 6 room. It sucked. No place for dogs to go to crap either. Most people just let their dog crap on the sidewalks. Sad. But the staff was friendly. Thats the only good thing about this historic place. "
"The blow dryer caught on fire at six in the morning setting off the smoke alarm asked for a refund in the morning and they said no I would pick a different hotel. Other than this one..Try the Aladdin in North Sonora."
"Sandra and Tammy were great, I was greeted and welcomed. There was a set back but overall, my stay was well. Close to Chicken Ranch, fast food, local night life. Felt safe in the surroundings community.
Thanks "
"Parking was easy. Yvonne and James are amazing. Rooms were clean. But could use new comforters and new fabric chairs in room. And better shampoo/conditioner "
"Hotel Lumberjack is a modern/updated classic 2 story motel. The room was quiet, it is about a block from S. Washington St (the main drag in downtown Sonora). The room had many convenience amenities; microwave, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, large TV with over 50 channels. On the desk, there were USB charging ports, HDMI port (didn't use) in addition 2 AC power sockets. AC power sockets was also available bedside.
The breakfast was standard continental breakfast (waffle maker, yogurt, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, hot and cold cereal, milk and juice, coffee and hot tea, etc.
Heating/AC is provided by, motel standard, under window heat-pump. These units are kind of loud by nature. The room is not spacious if you’re going to spend a lot of time in the room moving about.
I’d defiantly stay here again."
