The expensive room we booked had a view of a construction site and not the view of the ocean and blue waters we were promised. After complaining we were moved to a smaller/cheaper room. No refund was given on the difference but 2 spa vouchers were. The spa was not good would have rather preferred a refund. "First of all, we had a "sea view" cottage. But with no view of the sea. When I told a staffer that the AC wasn't working, he said "that's the way it's always been" The bathroom and shower were disgusting, with rusting handles for the shower, and the shower and the toilet in the same space. Towels were old and worn. And there was something on the floor that made it slippery; no idea what. This would be luxury accommodations only in Venezuela or North Korea, and maybe not the latter....
