"Room lovely but Swimming pool and lounge area very dirty, pool not cleaned. Spa area dirty and mould on ceiling, showers filthy. Such a shame as visited a few years ago and was spotless."

"Our superior room was looking tired and we didn’t have all the amenities in our room that are described on this site ie slippers,robes,coffee maker,espresso - the listing needs to be updated as I believe we have been “missold” No lift and a lot of stairs to access our room Breakfast was not as good as expected - the cooked breakfast was poor, poached eggs were hard and there was only one choice of pastry on the continental buffet, only one choice of milk and only cubed sugar that you can’t sprinkle on cereal "

"The warm welcome from check in , delivered to our well appointed room, we enjoyed a delicious dinner served by very professional staff , and again a delicious breakfast , there was nothing to criticise, thank you ."

"We had a two-night stay in the beach house. While the room itself was acceptable, on closer inspection the bathroom did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned. In general, the attention to cleanliness in the main areas of the hotel also seemed lacking. During our stay, we experienced a few maintenance issues. The hot tap in the outdoor bath leaked when in use, and in the room both the TV and lamps flickered intermittently. Although breakfast was included, I was disappointed to learn it was served at the main hotel, approximately a four-minute walk away. Unfortunately, we had to make this walk in the rain, and were only offered a buggy ride on the return journey. Finally, I feel that guests paying to stay at the hotel should have access to the spa facilities included, rather than being charged an additional £45 per person."
