We had to unplug lights in order to plugs in our phone, shower floor can a little slippery when wet (something on the floor, so a person doesn’t fall in shower) and it would be nice to have a full length mirror somewhere in the place. "Veronica gave us an extensive list of options to look at for visiting the local area, as first time visitors. You do have to carry your luggage up 1 1/2 flights of stairs. It is a good location for a 15 to 20 minute walk to Ortigia, which is a must visit. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower had plenty of room for a big man. It did take about one minute for the shower water to become hot. Parking is in short supply outside the building but a short walk to the train station provided ample space for free parking. All in all, it was just fine. GP"

"The hotel is beautiful and the first night I was there I was in a really cool room with a loft. I left for a week and then came back and stayed another night. This time the room was underneath the restaurant and was super loud until well after 11 PM. But overall, it’s a lovely property and very well located."
