Haus Sonnwend
10/10 Excellent
"We had a large room with balcony and en suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The room had a refrigerator, coffee making machine and a kettle. A free supply of tea bags, coffee capsules, milk and sugar was available in the entrance area. We were greeted by the owner and showed the facilities; there was a welcoming bottle of wine in our room. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of breakfast items; there was a large selection of fruits, cereals, breads, cold items (cheeses, smoked salmon, cold meats) and eggs freshly cooked to order in whatever way you preferred. Owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The property is situated in the centre of the village with a very short walk to the bus stop and many of the hotels. Our stay at the Sonnwend could not have been better; we cannot think of anything that needs improvement."
Hotel Gasthof Alpenblick

"Our room was a little smelly but after both windows were open to have wind through, that's better. The room even has a desk that I could work, however, no light above the desk and the indoor light was too weak to work on computer. The hotel even has a lift to use, very surprised. We had our dinner at their restaurant. Very nice glass house, even with air conditioning. They don't have menu because the restaurant basically is serving the hotel guests. That night's dish was pork steak and it was a 4-course dinner (noodle salad, soup, entree, cake) for 25 euro."

"We had a wonderful stay: great location, excellent service, and a friendly, attentive staff. The food was delicious, and the hotel has a warm, cozy atmosphere. We felt very welcome and would happily return. Bikes and vespas are available, adding great convenience. Special kudos to Isabella at the front desk—she is amazing."
