"The hotel itself is fine and everything you expect from a Holiday Inn. My only major negative is the price of parking. At £50 per day (that’s even with discount, should be £80) is a complete rip off and not mentioned on the site. Needs to be more transparent, just says parking is available, no mention of charges. "

"This hotel is not 5 star, it’s more like1 star. It’s very worn, poor quality furnishings and overall is extremely tired. I recently booked and when I arrived and saw the room refused to stay. The hotel wouldn’t refund or even make a gesture so do not book non refundable. I was allocated room 8 and it was like the worst B&B from the 80’s. The headboard was stained, the chair in the room dirty, cheap bed and plastic panels to look like marble in bathroom. The hotel is nothing like the images, inside or outside. "

"Breakfast paid for as part of my Hotels.com booking staying at Holiday Inn Bristol but Holiday Inn claimed that breakfast was not included as far as they were concerned so refused this on the morning of checking out. This was a business trip so didn't have time to argue on the day as we needed to get on on and out. Phoned Hotels.com later to query and they claimed it was an admin issue within Holiday Inn. All in all, annoying and frustrating and no apologies. "
