"No running hot water. Called in the evening and again in the morning with no answer. Cold shower it was. Room was too much money for the condition. Location however is convenient."

"Parking available, but they had a ballroom function over the easter weekend so car park pretty full. My room 124 had a problem with hot water in shower. Kept on going cold and not working correctly. Did complain to staff following morning who kindly offered to move us to another room. The bed wasn't very comfortable tbh. There is a mini gym there with basic equipment and it did the job. Didn't try breakfast as this was not included in the price. Overall i would rate it as not too bad and will probably stay again if the price is right. Staff were friendly and helpful which helps a lot. 24/7 reception open. "

"Fabulous host, great full English breakfast and 15 min walk into town. Highly recommend, the only small downside is the bathroom is not en-suite. But brilliant otherwise. Also the Elaichi Indian restaurant was incredibly tasty and byob 🍷😁"

"Enormous room, view over town. Bathroom a bit small and dated, would've liked a bathtub ideally, however, I understand that there are difficulties with such things in old buildings. Chris was very welcoming. The restaurant food was amazing! Thoroughly recommend. Will definitely stay again. "
