Online it said someone would be there till 11pm for check in. When I arrived around 10pm no one was there. The door was unlocked with no one inside (sketchy). There was a bunch of painting supplies everywhere. When I tried to contact them no one responded. Ended up having to pay for another hotel due to there no refund! Very upset.

We are very sorry for that inconvenience but we do have a sister hotel that our guests do go to for when we are unable to be here. There are notes on both doors stating this. The doors are never unlocked at night when no one is manning the desk, as the door was locked at 6am when we arrived the next morning. Yes there are supplies as we are trying to paint a mural on the wall for our guests to see some of the beauty we see in the badlands. As for you going to another hotel you went to our sister hotel and checked in as i have you in my system with your signed folio for this hotel. /you did not pay for a different hotel. As for the no refund when you book online and pre pay for the room that is very clearly stated that it is non refundable! We are very sorry that you were not happy as that was not something that was brought up to me the manager in the morning when you checked out the next morning.

Unsure if the room was cleaned before my arrival. No towels in the room. Had to use lamp extension cord for CPAP. Floor was old filthy carpet. Way to much money for this quality of hotel. Staff was plesant though!

Very Affordable Option
This is an older motel that seems to have recently been purchased by a new owner. They gave us all the attention we needed and were very accommodating by arranging for our breakfast at a hotel next door. It was snowing and the fellow was out shoveling snow ahead of us we went next door for breakfast. As time goes on they will find the things that need to be fixed, but it is a very affordable option and we were comfortable.

Clean enough, not immaculate - everything a bit dated. Mattresses not comfortable. Television was small. Parking lot not well lit. Bathroom needed updating and an upgrade. Heater was loud. Needs to be updated and repaired. We've stayed here before and knew what to expect, but this property only deserves three stars maximum. Most redeeming features are price (cheap, as it should be) and location (easy in and out).

We are sorry that you have not enjoyed your stays with us. We have been slowly updating our hotel but this does take time. But we do try to keep our prices fair as we are not an extremely new hotel. But we do offer a lot of better things than most as a nice hot breakfast and a very friendly staff. Sorry that we did not meet your expectations.

Don't judge a book by its cover because you'll arrive and say "no way" but this place is a hidden gem for the price you pay. Nice, clean rooms. Comfortable beds with nice linens. The breakfast is much smaller than you typically find at other hotels but it was enough to put something in your belly for the road. All in all, you'd be very much mistaken to pass this place by if you judge it by only the exterior.

The only problem was when we got back to our room after our event the key didn't work. So at 11:30 we have to go find someone to let us in. Staff was extremely nice. I would still recommend Glendive Lodge. Very clean and very welcoming. 😊

The tv didn’t work. Told to unplug and plug back in. Couldn’t access the plug as it was behind a dresser. Had to take a drawer out. Tv still didn’t work. Moved us to another room. Same problem. Went to read. Lamps by the bed didn’t work. Went to use the lamp in the corner. Couldn’t be plugged in as it was too far from the plug.

This is the first time we had dirty towels left in the bathroom when we arrived. The whole place had an odor. Breakfast was prepackaged danish and weak coffee. Horrible.

An amazing value and the friendliest people working there. The airline lost my bag for three days, and they went above and beyond to provide me what they could, directed me to where I could get anything else! Cute and kitschy rooms, great location, excellent parking. Will stay again when I’m back.

Staff was friendly, room was clean, beds were comfortable and it was so nice and quiet after turning the a/c off! Breakfast was ok. First time I’ve ever had housekeeping knock to see if we were still in our room.
