it was an average room with average amenities. The desk help upon checkin was extremely helpful, the staff on checkpit not helpful. She didnt get the breakfast area ready for guests, chairs still on tables. some of the food was past its expiration date. others were fresh.

Showed up in the middle of a cross-country drive, having stayed at a lot of hotels along the way. Definitely the best stop on the trip! Room was spotless and smart, price was fantastic, plenty of parking, quiet location in a decent neighbourhood not too far from the highway. Special mention for the gal who was working the front desk when I showed up, who was super friendly and helpful! I get a bit anxious when travelling alone, but the warm welcome really made me feel comfortable in this town.

Good Value
Family run business. Nothing fancy. Staff friendly. Liked that the room did not have carpeting. Breakfast was minimal, but with the price I am surprised they even offered breakfast. This stay was a good value for the money.

Decided on this property based on reviews - it certainly lives up to the good reviews! Very friendly people who will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Clean room, comfy bed and pillows! Would definitely recommend.

Hello. Thank you for the feedback (:We watched security footage (thoroughly) from the time you checked in (late night) until the time you left (late checkout). It does not appear anybody went near your truck the entire time you were parked there. The person in the car next to you wasn't visible for a couple minutes, but we could clearly see the back of your truck ): maybe it went missing somewhere else(?) We also didn't notice anybody hanging out outside the night you arrived. I was the one who checked you in, but I came inside before you arrived. I did see one guest walking his dog around the time you reparked your car ):

This is typical of the Sure Stay brand: An older remodeled motel. The staff was welcoming and gave us a free upgrade in rooms. She also recommended which place to go to eat as the choices are limited. Keep in mind, there is no elevator so plan accordingly. The room was clean. Certainly fine for a quick overnight. Breakfast consisted of a piece of fruit, toast, or mini mugfins. No hot selections.

First we noticed that the grounds were clean and well maintained. When we entered the facility we were greeted by the person at the front desk. She was awesome. Everyone at the motel was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. I have nothing but good things to say about the motel.

Staff were great. Greeted us. Asked us to let them know if we needed anything. Breakfast was adequate but nothing to rave about. Facility has noted renovations. But lawn needed mowing, mower was sitting out at front, found a piece of clothing from previous people on back of bathroom door, tub was chipped—but facility was basically clean and staff was responsive. Just have some details that would have made me more confident that it was a “10”. Can’t say enough that staff was kind. Also when we arrived people were smoking right outside the door—not what we like to arrive to.

Not Too Impressed!
It was not the greatest stay we had in our trip. We did not have any towels in our room and it took quite a while to get the towels. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about as it had a limited amount of items available! It also seemed as if one person was trying to run the facility. This person was called to assist in printing out a receipt (I observed another patron in this instance)! The bed was comfortable and there was a good selection of channels on the television.

What I loved- the staff was very nice and helpful. In addition, the place was dog friendly. What I didn’t love- the air conditioner ran all night and didn’t cool the room, which made for a sleepless night.

Would definitely stay again
Hotel is in process of changing to a Best Western so everything wasn’t in place yet. The beds are new and very comfortable. The staff was incredible, going above and beyond when we had a medical emergency.

When we stayed in June 2023 the property was in the process of changing from a locally owned? (Hotel Glendive Yellowstone River) to a Best Western. There were boxes of supplies (think Amazon truck left its whole load) stacked neatly around. Our room had been renovated with laminate floors, paint, new sink and maybe shower tile, curtains, bedding. Refrigerator and microwave, tv. It was clean and quiet. Staff was very friendly. Prices very reasonable and now they offer breakfast. It looks like they might have some long-term guests but everyone was very friendly and it was very quiet and neat. I would recommend.

Hey Sandra! Thank you for the awesome, detailed review! Much appreciated!Our hotel (Hotel Glendive) is managed and ran by a family centered, community driven, local staff. Even though we have indeed picked up the Surestay by Best Western brand, we are the same staff focused on the same goals. The boxes of supplies.... oh my.... we made a dent in those this weekend. Unfortunately everything came in backwards (pillows before pillow protectors, sheets before blankets, towels but no bath mats, etc). It was crazy. Needless to say, we appreciate you pointing out that they were stacked neatly. Thank you also for pointing out the new things in the room. And yes, the shower tile is all new (:
