"Being an avid traveller I often look for a stay outside the mainstream. This is one of them, and it's very good. Wintertime it's low key and peaceful but in the summer it's buzzing.
Hotel and restaurant sits right on the water! There are only 10 rooms with a relaxing common area equipped with coffee and the by desire, so it's cozy. Easy check-in even late hours. "Went to Sundsvall for a family reunion and the hotel was in the perfect location downtown. Breakfast was awesome and the staff was excellent. I heard spa was nice but never made it there. Self Parking was easy. I would definitely stay there again. "
"The Best Western in Hudiksvall was a great place to stay. Easy walking to many sites and restaurants. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only down side was there is no air conditioning in the rooms and temperatures were unseasonably hot during our stay. "
"The location of this hotel is very unique being that it sits on a pier overlooking the water. Overall, the accommodations were wonderful for our family of 3. Unlike most family rooms in the area, our room had a dedicated single bed for our child to sleep on rather than a pullout sofa bed. The only inconvenience was that walking distance to dining options beyond what is available on the premises is a little long at about 20 minutes or so depending on your walking pace. Nonetheless, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. "
