We had to move rooms because the 4th floor has no hot water..my daughter ended up with bacterial ear infection from the pool. Other then that the staff is nice and building is clean. Beds are comfortable

I apologize for the hot water issue; it has been rectified. Our pool is closely monitored and tested 6 times daily to ensure it meets the standards laid down by our local Health Unit. I sincerely wish your daughter a speedy recovery. I am glad to hear that the hotel was able to provide you with a restful stay.

Room was clean and comfortable. Couldn’t find the black out blinds… pushed way back behind curtains…so street lights shone into the room making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise it was a great stay. Quick check in. Convenient to everything in town

Clean and comfortable place to stay with a decent breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't realize a minor league hockey team was also staying at our hotel Family Day weekend - on the 4th floor, the same floor as us. The first afternoon there was a hockey game in the hallway. But it was in the evenings that it was most noisy - until about 10:15 or so. Lots of running up and down the hall, yelling and doors slamming. To the parents: Please spare a thought for other hotel guests and rein in your kids a bit. To the hotel: How about installing better soundproofing? Or give hockey families their own floor. For us: Travel with better ear plugs, and check with hotel re local hockey tournaments and stay elsewhere if possible.

Hello Mary, We are happy the hotel and breakfast were satisfactory. We totally understand the inherent frustration until 10:00 pm Quiet Time begins. We strive to encourage young hockey players and their parents to observe this. It begins at 10pm and unfortunately there were a few overexcited stragglers moving back to their own rooms. Excellent place to stay.
The location was close to center of town and to the beach. The hotel and our room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. It is an excellent value. We had a very nice stay and would highly recommend it. We would stay there again in future trips.

Was there with the wife , had some music on ,was told to turn it town and we did . Then they Called the police because of a noise complaint . A little unnecessary. Other than that it was great !

Hello Justin, Thank you for your business; we appreciate all our guests. Our quiet time starts at 10:00pm. It was around midnight when guests in rooms near to yours began calling us to request the noise be kept down. We tried knocking on your door, calling the room & calling your cellphone. We could not reach you so we thought it best to contact the police in case there was something preventing you responding. We do need to ensure all guests have a comfortable and restful night's sleep.

Beds are amazing! Very comfortable, lots of pillows on the King. Shower was decent water pressure but not hot. There was a problem with our room. Other guests said their shower was very hot. The bathroom could have been cleaner, the corners of counters, shower and the sink were dirty. Towels were amazing! King suite has lots of room for storing stuff and worked well for 3 people. The pull out couch was decent enough to sleep on but not very comfy to sit on. The chair provided with desk was old and not comfortable. The furniture all had signs of wear. The rooms climate control worked well. Pool hours were limited to 10am-10pm. We would have liked it open earlier. The pool area was very clean and towels were large. Gym is 24 hours. Staff was friendly but very sparse. Often did not see desk staff at night. Daily cleaning not done in rooms because of Covid, excuse all major chains are giving to cut cleaning staff. We had to ask twice for our garbage to be emptied and coffee station to be refilled. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker worked well. Breakfast was so so. Items seemed stale and I was concerned about the egg and sausage temperature so we did not eat those. Coffee was terrible. The tables in the breakfast area could be cleaner. The chairs and seating in the lobby area were not comfy at all. The cookies in the lobby was a nice touch and were good. Fresh lemon water in lobby too. I was impressed in 2019 with this hotel when it was first built but now not so much.

Most importantly, decent humans.
I have stayed be here before and previously left a positive review. I would add this time that for a hotel in this price range the bed in our room, 320, or fantastic and supportive. On a far more important note, my wife was injured nearby on our last night here (had nothing to do with the hotel). She hit her face and was taken to hospital by ambulance for stitches, and by the time we returned to the hotel it was after 4am. Both hotel staff with whom I dealt, the daytime supervisor whose name I think was Graham, and the night shift woman, whose name I wish I had gotten (she has pink hair) wee compassionate and understanding. They let us stay past the normal "late checkout." Going through something like this while far from home was a difficult experience and the staff here really stepped up. Thanks to both of them!

Very nice place, conveniently located. Clean room and no smoke smell like in some other non smoking hotels. Comfortable bad a bit on the harder side for my test but that is just my preference.Staff very nice and welcoming. Breakfast was good. The only complaint I have is that windows cannot be opened and air conditioning had to run all night and that can be noisy at times.

Broken toilet roll holder, no place to hang a towel, no exhaust fan in bathroom. Enjoyed complimentary breakfast but cheese omelet and sausage EVERY DAY. Coule have offered a little more variety but overall ok. The pool was great.
