Good food and service
I have always liked to book Holiday in any country I visited.The one in Gottingen is exceptional . The breakfast is the best in all three countries compared. I am pleased with the kindness of the staff . The downside of it is that not all staff can speak English and Uber eats and taxi do not deliver to the hotel . Overall,I enjoyed the service from Holiday Inn Express at Gottinghen.

The room was okay, good enough for a few nights stay. However, the pillows were really soft, with almost no support. They have very limited parking spaces, and they would not reserve a spot for you. We got a parking spot in the afternoon, but when we came back from dinner, it was all full and we had to find a parking garage nearby, which was quite inconvenient. Also there is no dinner available at the hotel. If you arrive late and did not make a reservation for their restaurant, you will have to find something in the city centre. Very limited choices for breakfast.

A very nice and convenient location to the train station, and walking distance to old town area. Nice clean rooms. Good morning breakfast. Very pleasing hotel to stay at.

Most un-serviceminded staff on record.
The first staff didn't speak English, and couldn't find our reservation. The colleague spoke fine English, but radiated a visible dissatisfaction, that we disturbed them at 22.00 hrs. There was no parking for us, but the staff suggested parking at a supermarket "in the area" . This means that we had to empty our car of 15 pieces of luggage, and park off the hotel area. The website advertises the hotels 24/7 pizza in the bar. Upon asking the (same) staff about the pizza, she responded by looking at her wrist watch. Twice. I responded friendly, that the website said it was a 24hr service, to which she again looked at her watch and said " Ok 30 minutes" When I said ok, well we need the food, so we will take it and wait the 30 minutes, she responded "45 minutes actually" We asked her to cancel it. Ate some chips and sodas we had in the car. Oh, and it was super warm, and the air condition didn't work - the hotel is super duper new and fine, so I assume it was shut off rather than defective. To be fair, the staff we met at check out, was super nice, and didn't at all seem as if somebody had stolen her teddy bear. We chose this hotel simply because it was at the very limit of how far we could drive home from south Europe. I feel that we got a fantastic price, and for the standard of the hotel in terms of how new it was, I was very happy. However, as I chose it for location and not price, I would happily have paid twice the price, and in return get less grumpy staff.

Dear guest, I am sorry that you were received so negatively. This should not really be the case. It is true that we offer a 24-hour pizza service with us and therefore you also have the right to get them at any time. Yes, the parking spaces are a problem. We would have liked to have more of them, but space-wise it was not feasible. However, we have a parking garage only 5 minutes walk away, which our guests can use. Nice room, good breakfast, English speaking staff. Also close to the train tation, it is a bit of a walk to the old town COVID wise, the use of shared utensils for the buffet breakfast should probably be changed, but good processes everywhere else.

Üblicher Standard in unmittelbarer Nähe zu Bahnhof, Lokhalle und Innenstadt. Parken mit 14Euro eher teuer. Es gibt auch kostenlose Parkplätze nicht allzu weit entfernt.

Nyt og fint.
Rigtig fint hotel ganske tæt på motorvejen. Perfekt som mellemstation på en tur sydpå. Fint moderne værelse og bad/toilet. God morgenmad inkluderet. Vi ankom efter 21, hvor der ikke var flere parkeringspladser og måtte derfor parkere i nabolaget.

Alternativ informieren wir Sie auch gerne über den kostenlosen Parkplatz der ca. 800m von unserem Haus entfernt liegt.
