"The staff were lovely and the facilities were delightful. To walk round the Lake then have a sauna or fun in the pools is a real treat. It was very busy as it was school holidays which we didn’t realise. The buffet restaurant is also a great offering. Huge variety. "

"Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Ljubljana. Clean, comfortable room with climate control and windows that open fully for fresh air. The breakfast was exceptional, easily the best I've had from a chain hotel (fresh baked pastries, hot eggs, stewed peppers...all delicious). The Turkish kitchen staff obviously know how to provide a good breakfast! Ample on site parking, and located in a quiet residential area just a short drive from highways and the city centre. Cannot say enough good things about the quality of my stay. I visited to be closer to local skiing and will do so again next year"

"I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel with double room since its falsely marketed for 3 people even though it doesnt accommodate it. They are trying to sell all the rooms as for 3 people. The rooms can only accommodate 2 people maximum. When I placed my booking, I booked it because I was under the impression that the room can sleep 3 people. That's how the room was being sold via Expedia. I brought this issue up to the front desk in the morning the next day since I was out and about celebrating for NYE. When I got back to the room for the 1st time, it was a 2 twin beds. I was a bit disappointed about not being able to accommodate for 3 people. Apparently all rooms were booked even though it was quiet at the hotel. I told them that the room should accommodate 3 people but it wasn't to my expectation during the time of booking. They said they will have someone check out on Friday and they would reserve that room for me. I followed up with them that same evening, the next morning, and the afternoon. When I got back to the hotel after my day out, they said the room was booked and it was full again. Every time I spoke to them about the room being available for me, it felt like it was the first time they heard about it and they never acknowledged it. I felt that they kept on leading me on. I won't recommend anyone. I asked expedia to step in to resolve this matter but due to multiple failed attempts to reach the hotel, it defaulted to their cancellation policy which was no help."

"We had an excellent stay and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the guys at the reception were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. When we asked for recommendations on restaurants and sightseeing, they gave us fantastic suggestions that really enhanced our trip. The room was very nice and cosy, with spotless cleanliness throughout our stay. Breakfast in the morning was another highlight, with a great variety of food choices to suit everyone. The staff at the bar were also very friendly, contributing to a wonderful atmosphere. On top of everything, the hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with a great design that adds to the overall charm. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again."
