"Reflective of the excellent price, clean and adequate for a stopover en route to the Channel Tunnel. Restuarant and bakery within walking distance. Beds comfy and family room generously sized as always. Just a bit of a dated hotel compared to some B&Bs but perfectly fine for a stopover and price was excellent. "

"Nice big room. It was a bit of a trek through the building... which is clearly multiple buildings stuck together. Spacious room. Good bed and second bed for my daughter. Sofa coffee table tea and coffee. Bath in the bathroom which is rare now. One negative thing was lack of air con. This visit was ok as not too hot, but if were summer we'd have been sweating. "

"The hotel is easy to access from the motorway, has plenty of parking, and is very friendly. The staff called me to check our arrival time, and they were very helpful. We didn't arrive in time for dinner, but we did get to enjoy the delicious breakfast. The room was super clean and nice, with some eco friendly touches. I would definitely stay here again en route."

"The room and bathroom were a fair size. The decoration was OK but too much black made it quite difficult to see in the very subdued lighting. There were some weak details such as no hangers for trousers, only 2 coffee pods (very mean) and unusable plug sockets behind curtains. The bathroom was excellent with a bath and good shower. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of foods. The location of the hotel is ideal and the parking a real bonus."

"Le chateau est beau et le site enchanteur. Employé très courtois et professionnel. Les chambres sont bien mais pas parfaitement propre - toile d’araignée et poussière. Pas d’eau chaude le matin pour les douches dans le chateau (même après avoir laisser coulée 10 min). Charmant. "
