We got excellent information from them on the history and economy of the region and on how to access the Riemvasmaak hot springs, including by the spectacular route to its west (4x4 only) through the Vredensvallei canyon."

"Felt like a business hotel - no frills - but does all the basics right. Did not enjoy the smell of stale cigarette smoke in my bedroom. Breakfast was great - TV channels were good - lots of parking close to rooms. "

"A beautiful lodge set on a wine farm, the building is wrapped around a swimming pool with the dining room and guest suites looking onto the pool and carefully tended garden. Food was excellent, staff attentive."
