Serious plumbing issues

No ceiling above toilet, water dripping from visible pipes etc. Woke to a wall completely soaked and the floor flooded; personal items ruined due to water damage. Told reception and got, "didnt anyone tell you the room above you had plumbing issues? Sorry."

There was 3 adults staying, we asked for a separate room for 1 adult, this wasn't given. Only 1 washer left for 3 people, had to ask for the extra's, same happened on the 2nd day. The main door had been damaged prior.

A hotel in town

Overall a reasonable hotel to stay at, but nothing special to right home about, Rooms a bit small but still ok. Meals not a great selection but tasty, the specials board was very well hidden, I did not see it until after ordering, Don't think there was Seniors meals or may be I look to young to have a Seniors card. Drinks where cold and went down well. One big bug for me was the motel car park I had to park in the Main Street due to parking spaces all taken.

Pleasant friendly motel on main street of Goulburn

Clean if spartan room. Heating and TV fine. Bistro at motel offered an interesting varied menu, including Korean dishes. Dine early to avoid noisy music.Staff very friendly. Very good for overnight stay.

Convenient and cheap. That's about it..

TV was tiny. The room had a window with a bright yellow street light shining into it all night that couldn't be blocked. The heater was jacked up to 30 all night yet remained ice cold inside the room. And the shower was dark and horrid.

Great base to explore local region full of history

Enjoyed the stay. Even though a freezing sub zero night, a few steps from the room and we were into the well laid out dining area with a cozy fire, great food and drink and excellent service. We have no hesitation to recommend to fellow travellers along the Hume Hwy.. .

Why bother

Having booked online as advised by the hotel staff, I was advised when travelling that there was no booking and no accommodation. The staff were less than helpful and I might say quite rude. I will not be staying at the hotel or recommending it.

Ordinary, very ordinary...

There's a reasons why they have no photos of the rooms. Yes the 'bar' has been refurbished but nothing else has been. 1970's i'd say when they last painted etc in the rooms. Dark rooms, paint peeling from the roof and feral carpet. Oh and you can hear the music all night.... I rate the motel as 2 out of 5 stars.

Very old rooms

This hotel is definitely not rated 3.5 if you rated the rooms it would be a 1 While the restaurant and bar have been renovated the rooms are horrible. They would date pre 70's Very old and dingy. Bathroom tiny and dark, an aged person would not be able to shower without difficulty. It was extremely disappointing, I would not recommend or stay there again,

Deceiving information on there site

They show pictures of the bar only which is shown to be brand new and is actually quite nice. The staff member was friendly although after saying that I was overcharged and saying he would change the price nothing changed. The room was disgusting just walking on the carpet with bare feet had my feet go black and the floor felt squishy and damp. The air conditioner didn't work had it run for 3 hours when we went out and came back the room was still stuffy and the air con was barely blowing. The tv was 15" at most and barely visible from the bed. Being so close the the pub there were randoms that walked around out side the rooms making lots of noise.
