"From someone who stays in hotels a lot with my job I have to say this hotel has it all, the staff can not do enough for you from the lovely reception staff who held our luggage and placed medical stents in the office so we didn’t have to carry them around, to Lewis on the bar, all super efficient and friendly. Room clean and lovely with a great view of the city."

"A cosy small family run hotel and restaurant on the coast with great views. Plenty of onsite parking, warm welcome on arrival. Room was spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Both the evening meal and breakfast are delicious with a good selection of food and drink. Can highly recommend dining here. Thank you especially Angie the morning breakfast server. "We had a beautiful stay at Maryculter House in October 2025. Parking was convenient, staff was very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. We stayed 2 nights and had afternoon tea, dinner abd breakfast in the dinning area. All meals were top notch. We would stay here again."

"We were only in Stonehaven for one night. However, the Ship Inn was a great choice. We (4 of us) had dinner there and it was excellent! The waiting-staff was very friendly and helpful. We had included breakfast there the next morning as well and we were glad we did with made-to-order items as well as some buffet-choices. The rooms were comfortable and the view of the harbor was wonderful. "
