"Everything was great "

"Stayed for 2 nights in eagle fish room, overlooking the Sundays river. Had a fabulous time, Etta, Carol, Leona and Derek are so friendly, helpful and laid back. Wonderful character property and great base for Addo park and game reserves. Booked all through the lodge. Lovely little pub up the road, grunters, withIn 5 minutes from lodge for an evening meal. Definitely recommend the boat trip up the river and visit the Dunes, we went with Beau (and His wife Ruth) and had the most fabulous morning....

"I was very unhappy because on the site I booked at Beachway for bed and breakfast but we were referred to another place without breakfast. "

"Our host was very helpful with transporting us to and from the airport, and helping with luggage. He also made a dinner booking for us. The property needs some updating but was very comfortable and clean and in a very good location."

"Place is lovely, very safe to take short walk to beautiful beach, & if it's shopping malls & restaurants you fancy, there's a giant one nearby. First time I haven't seen/felt uber security issue in South Africa. Property owners Lynn & Fred are fun, delightful, generous & helpful."

"A desk or a place to work would have been nice, and since we do struggle with the inevitable load shedding, some emergency outside lighting and perhaps backup on wifi. Unlocking in the pitch dark was challenging. The automatic gate was a blessing so I could drive in and close it before starting to unlock. Staff are not very communicative. "

"It is a wonderful place with a great room ( Maritime) . Very well appointed and very tastefully decorated. The manager, Fiona, was most pleasant and helpful. It is a great place to relax ( nice walks around) before a long flight. We loved it there. "

"We only stayed one night but were very happy with our choice. It is a beautiful place in a very nice setting on the banks of the Sundays River. It was quiet and peaceful. After a long drive we were glad to have use of the indoor pool. The host is very friendly and helpful. It is very handy for visiting Addo Elephant Park. Breakfast was very nice and catered to us being vegetarian. Highly recommended."
