"We had a very warm welcome at the hotel. The staff were delightful and nothing was too much trouble. We were particularly impressed by the welcome given to children and the range of activities for them. I would advise guests to take notice of the hotelโs suggestion to avoid the busier times for breakfast as we did experience one morning in the โrush hourโ and it was hectic"

"Wonderful dinner, the charcuterie board as a starter was the most impressive Iโve seen. The Hotel title does not do justice to the castle setting. The breakfast room is about 4 rooms extending into the real stone castle. Fantastic pancakes"

"Hotel grounds and lobby are in good shape and clean. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel has good menu and breakfast. The hotel room was overall clean but the humidity is taking its toll on some of the furniture - causing peeling pleather. The bed was quite stiff, but overall decent night's sleep"

"First time staying there and everything was fantastic! While it is an older property, the staff does all they can to make you feel welcome and are very helpful with request. The breakfast was always wonderful. They offer supper as well and there is an onsite bar. We used it as our base for a nine-day trip to Ireland. There is a bus stop nearby that can get you to the train station and you can go to Dublin or just explore the coast cities. While I did not get names of staff, we never had one of them that did not greet us with a smile, and were ready to answer questions or make things better. A place we will visit again on our next trip."
