I highly recommend this spot. The location was amazing, the apartment was clean, comfortable and a beautiful mix and modern and historic. Our hostess was helpful both in accommodating our delays and with recommendations for places to visit and eat. We would absolutely stay here again.

This was the best accommodation of our visit. Next to the Alhambra entrance and walkable to all places. The apartment was excellent and comfortable but what made it special was our host. She was very welcoming and helpful. I will recommend this apartment to anyone that visit Granada.

I can’t vouch for other rooms as rooms in boutique hotel can be very different, but the room I stayed is absolutely the best I have had over the years and probably the best I can hope for. The hotel is at the end of street leading to Alhambra. The street is mostly other boutique hotels and souvenir shops. It means it is extremely quiet at night. Down the hill with a couple of minutes walk at the other end of street, you immediately at the center of the action with a lots of restaurants and tapas bar. The host is very helpful, provided me the map with recommendations of attractions and tapas bars, most importantly, how tapas scene works in Granada. My room is one bedroom apartment right off the elevator with two balconies of living room facing the street. I can see the watching tower of the fortress. Double bed and living room sofa can be pulled out as another double bed, so I imagine it works for family as well. It’s an apartment, so no front desk or breakfast, but it’s not important to me. It has a full kitchen.

Location etc was the best

For tub safety placing a mat would be helpful and the handle on the side of the tub was not sturdy. Overall, excellent location, beautiful apartment and excellent communication with Maria Jose.

This two bedroomed apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities you could wish for, including a washing machine. It is situated at the top of a street leading towards the Alhambra complex, so perhaps not suited to people with mobility or breathing problems. The area was quiet and there was a little local cafe nearby for breakfast or snacks with the main area of bars and restaurants only 10 mins walk away. We were met at the apartment by Maria Jose who gave us lots of great information about sightseeing and where to go for tapas. She also helped to arrange a taxi very early in the morning of our departure, which was a great help as you cannot book taxis in advance and the operators tend to speak Spanish only.

We were met by Maria, the owner who checked us in, she was very helpful and gave us lots of tips on places of interest and the best tapas restaurants. The apartment is superb, very well appointed, warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is quiet but very close to numerous restaurants, shops, buses, taxis and next to the gardens leading up to the Alhambra Palace. We didn't use the lovely roof terrace on our visit in November but it would be wonderful to sit out there on a hot summer evening and enjoy the view. We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and would love to return in summer.

Una experiencia estupenda

Nuestra experiencia fue sencillamente fabulosa. La calidad del apartamento es muy alta desde todo punto de vista, incluyendo lo espacioso, la decoración, el estado físico, el mobiliario, el equipamiento, la dotación de enseres de cocina y lencería, la limpieza, la comodidad de las camas y la ubicación. Cuenta con parking privado el cual, aunque se paga aparte, resulta muy conveniente por estar contiguo a la puerta de acceso al edificio. Se trata de una edificación del siglo XIX, remodelada hace apenas 5 años con materiales de primera calidad y muy buen gusto. Está ubicada a tan solo unos cuantos pasos de la Puerta de Las Granadas que da acceso a la Alhambra y a muy corta distancia de la Calle Reyes Católicos, que es una de las principales vías en el caso histórico de Granada y donde se consigue virtualmente de todo. La atención que recibimos de la Sra. María José, dueña del edificio, fue sencillamente excepcional. El único detalle que puedo mencionar es que tuvimos problemas puntuales con el suministro de agua caliente, los cuales fueron atendidos pronta y diligentemente. Definitivamente, es un lugar que repetiría la próxima vez que visite esta hermosa ciudad, por lo que no dudo en recomendarlo.

Perfect place to stay!

This was the perfect place to stay for our time in Granada! The apartment was close enough to everything we needed (restaurants, Alhambra, etc.) but far enough away that it wasn't loud or busy at night, perfect for a good night of sleep. From the places in town, it is up a hill, which wasn't was big deal for us. It was very convenient that it is so close to the Alhambra, a quick walk, especially considering we had an earlier morning visitation time. There is also a flamenco place close to the apartment that put on a good, more intimate show. We did NOT bring a car and walked all around town. Maria was a great host. She was accommodating, especially considering we were a little later than our specified check-in time (due to walking from the bus station, which was a little far away) and also didn't have a good way of contacting her as we didn't have international cell service. She provided us with maps of the city and made suggestions on places to go. She also dropped off a cute little tray of goodies for breakfast that were perfect to start our mornings. The apartment was spacious and clean. Working kitchen and ample space to sprawl out and relax. The wi-fi was consistent and reliable. It also has a washing machine! The outdoor space was a great relaxing end to our nights with a cup of tea. If we were to find ourselves in Granada again, we wouldn't hesitate to book the Apartamentos Turisticos Mauror again!
