"A beautiful, historic building and a lovely, lovely hotel. Staff could not do enough for us and we're super friendly. Caterena was a star. Room very well equipped. Various International TV stations and free WiFi. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of choice and cooked fresh. Great quality. Rooftop pool was a lovely facility but lost the sun by 4:30 (Oct). Restaurant was open Weds to Sunday for dinner and was another jem. Situated in a tranquil suburb across from Valetta you need to take the ferry or a Taxi. Would not hesitate to stay again"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel & property was grand, serene, spotless and very well maintained. The staff were all so professional and helpful. The location was awesome and so close to everything! We thoroughly enjoyed the relax time by the infinity pool with an incredible view of the marina. The staff at the pool were so friendly and attentive. Wonderful dinner and service at the award winning Beef Bar too. We would definitely recommend this wonderful hotel!!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All staff were professional, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent a good choice and of a high standard. We also had a very unexpected surprise when we came back to find balloons, birthday card and 2 glasses of prosecco in our room to celebrate my birthday all organised by the hotel, a very lovely and unexpected touch. "This was a wonderful hotel located on a bluff with very easy access to the swimming spots in the sea. Plenty of amenities and dining options, however, my wife being a vegetarian very limited options. Easy walking distance down to the bay with plenty more shopping and dining options. The entire hotel staff were courteous and provided great service. Enjoyed the spa facility and it was very clean. Actually the entire hotel and facilities were clean. Rooms were comfortable and loved the sea facing balconies to enjoy the gorgeous sunrises with my morning coffee during the stay. Overall, a great hotel, amenities, location and staff. Will definitely return."
