"The Dar el Jeld is like visiting a fancy aunt's house. My Tunisian friend pointed out the vessels that her grandmother would have used to make rose water or store couscous and I noticed the inclusion of local plants (jasmine, prickly pear) in the decor. It was a delight for the senses and we would have stayed more than the two nights if the hotel wasn't already fully booked. The hotel van pick-up was super helpful. Although we were not able to have a late check-out, the hotel did hold our luggage for us, which was much appreciated. Guests are instructed to arrange with the spa and restaurants directly, instead of the front desk. "

"Very clean, and highly friendly staff towards my Goth Wife and her Goth friend. Beds were very comfortable. Free Breakfast was reasonable, various options of coffee or juice. Only down side is the lack of an Elevator. If you are Alternative this place is a good choice. All staff were friendly, desk, cook, and housekeeping are all welcoming. Only 3 staff shockingly it seems."

"Staff was very helpful, they all spoke English very well too which was convenient. The place is very nice, well maintained, and easy to get around/to the Medina market. We had dinner at the roof top restaurant and the food was delicious."

Idéalement situé, près de la Médina et de l'avenue Habib Bourguiba. Déjeuner fourni (3 variantes différentes) permettant de bien débuter la journée. Je recommande fortement."
